My respect goes to the trees who survived war, violence, abuse during INDONESIAN occupation of EAST TIMOR and are around strong and vigorous, to support the youth towards the reconstruction of EAST TIMOR

while great percentage of the population got killed during INDONESIAN occupation of EAST TIMOR, today i found a sacred tree that survived and guards the resistance stories for posterity. she stands straight, tall, gives us shade and inspires us to stay hopeful and work for a better future!!!
