As I believe in the power of arts & culture as tools for peace with justice, for many years, our Cultures Of Resistance Foundation has been supporting The Congo International Film Festival. Excited to announce that this year, the 13th edition of CIFF will take place in Goma, DRC, from July 7 to 15. In addition to films, this year’s festival will feature “civic engagement” activities including a civic journalism workshop and roundtable discussions on topics like peaceful political participation, youth and elections, and women, power, and storytelling.
