Whenever I have the opp, I also try to be a positive boomerang . this month, our Cultures Of Resistance Network supports again the work of Partners In Health’s work in HAITI, to bolster the 12 clinics and hospitals they operate that provide modern medical care to one million people for free. our grant will help their doctors, nurses, and thousands of community health workers treat malnourished children, help women safely deliver babies, provide HIV patients lifesaving medication, and help cure patients suffering from cholera, cancer, and tuberculosis.
We also support their work in MALAWI through the strengthening of the capacity of their team across 14 hospitals and health centers to provide comprehensive health care to 160,000 people in the extremely remote Neno District. key programs focus on reducing maternal deaths and providing preventative treatment and care for HIV (9th highest HIV rate in the world), tuberculosis, malaria, and malnutrition.
