The Fukushima disaster was a devastating accident, forcing 47,000 residents to evacuate their homes, after 3 nuclear reactors experienced meltdowns, explosions, and leakages. After Chernobyl in 1986, the Fukushima disaster was the 2nd most devastating nuclear incident.
