More than half the women in the DRC have experienced physical violence, but our friends at Sofepadi (Solidarité Féminine pour la Paix et le Développement Intégral) are working to change that! SODEPADI is a group of women who were outraged by the high rates of sexual violence in eastern DRC and are now working to promote and defend the rights of Congolese women and girls—both in the context of the ongoing conflict and in their daily lives.
