Last year, a delegation from the Pacific Islands went to one of the dirtiest fossil fuel extraction sites in the world: the Canadian tar sands. As climate change threatens to destroy their homes and render them, climate refugees, these activists made it clear that they would fight to keep their homes above water, and to keep dirty fossil fuels in the ground.
