Our friends at Freemuse are campaigning to free Ferhat Tunç, who has been the target of numerous government investigations because of his music. Despite a February 2015 ruling by the European Court of Human Rights that Turkey violated Tunç’s right to freedom of expression by sentencing him to prison, he is now facing new charges.

Also, Ramón Esono Ebalé, an illustrator and comics author from Equatorial Guinea, has been held in detention without charge since September 16. Our friends at Freemuse, Amnesty International, and Human Rights Watch are all demanding his immediate release.
