Just got the last stats from our grantees, Equality Now, working against hideous CHILD MARRIAGE in AFRICA:

Uganda: 40% of girls are married before their 18th birthday in Uganda.
Tanzania: 37% of girls are married before their 18th birthday in Tanzania.
Benin: 32% of girls are married before their 18th birthday in Benin
Kenya: 23% of girls are married before their 18th birthday in Kenya.
