Since 2013, we have provided Fauna & Flora International’s Global Trees Campaign (GTC) programme with annual grants to support tree conservation in seven different countries: Belize, Brazil, Saint Lucia, Madagascar, Indonesia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, and to provide support to local partners and seed funding for a larger programme of conservation in each country.
The Global Trees Campaign (GTC), a partnership between Fauna & Flora International (FFI) and Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI), is the only international programme dedicated to in situ threatened tree conservation. Since it was established in 1999, this unique partnership has addressed the conservation of over 387 threatened tree species, delivering action for trees in 55 countries.
