The Afghan Mobile Mini-Circus for Children (MMCC) is an educational project that uses circus activities to empower youth, build joyful communities, and promote peace in war-torn Afghanistan.
Around 1500 children and youth are attending their daily activities and learn juggling, unicycling, acrobatics, theater, singing, puppetry and magic tricks.
→ These students then perform and conduct workshops across the country, spreading awareness about health, land mines, the importance of education, and other issues along the way. The MMCC encourages children to lead and to learn from each other, with three-quarters of the circus activities led by children!
→ Our @culturesofresistance foundation, is honoured to do it’s small bit to support this important work.
